About Shelly's Beer Barn

We created a beautiful backyard and soon realized that we needed relief from the unrelenting sun. We tried many different options and lost many canopies and even a semi-permanent structure due to weather.  We needed a real structure.

Chris had always wanted to build a timber frame home.  And in reality, the tiny shed wouldn't be a place for entertaining.  Construction began in 2022.  Shelly’s Beer Barn is a testament to the hard work of Chris. We envisioned a space where the family and family could gather.  Chris, along with his… “friends”, brought our vision to life. The bar is a classic timber frame structure, built with sturdy timber beams and decorated with a rustic antique. Once built, Chris realized that he need space to cook so Jimmy's Cook Shack was built.  Then I decided that this beautiful bar need more than just a pebble patio. With the help of GlobeGreen, a large patio was installed. The centerpiece of the patio is a large fire pit, where family and friends gather to roast marshmallows and tell stories. The backyard bar has become the site of many memorable events, including epic Halloween and Christmas Eve parties. It is a place where you can relax, have fun, and create lasting memories.
